About Us
Snuggle Stop Rescue, officially established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in late 2023, is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating both cats and dogs in need.
What started as a focused effort to help local mom cats and kittens has quickly expanded to supporting animals both locally and across state lines. With a mission to provide compassionate care and find loving homes for as many animals as possible, Snuggle Stop Rescue has become a vital part of the community.
The rescue is led by Cathy, a seasoned small animal veterinarian with years of experience in animal care. Before relocating to Massachusetts, Cathy worked as a shelter veterinarian in Oklahoma, where she gained invaluable experience helping animals in need.
Alongside Cathy is Sarah, a dedicated animal lover and long-time employee of Cathy. Sarah has been an integral part of Snuggle Stop Rescue, bringing her passion for animals and hands-on expertise to the organization.
Together, Cathy and Sarah are committed to making a difference in the lives of animals, offering them a second chance at a happy and healthy life. Snuggle Stop Rescue relies on the support of compassionate individuals and communities to continue their lifesaving work and expand their reach. Whether through adoption, fostering, or donations, there are many ways for people to get involved and help make a lasting impact.
